Exploring dates and datable properties
Wikibase queries
See the Dates section of the example queries. (The query used here is similar to All the Dates for Women FSAs but for all women.)
Notes
A “datable” property is one that has at least one date (of any kind) associated with it somewhere in the wikibase. Some are “main” properties (including the must have properties dates of birth/death) but the majority are used in qualifiers.
The query is currently limited to pages about women (for manageability!) so it does not cover every possible datable property. I can expand this later.
TODO:
- differentiate <unknown value> from missing
Main properties
Here the undated should be all <unknown value> as the query doesn’t include women who haven’t had the property added at all. [Date of birth/death missing stats are covered here.]
Qualifiers
The query for qualifiers works slightly differently from that for main dates, and undated are a mix of <unknown value> (a minority) and unrecorded.
